YarnSwap helps you find substitute yarns when the one in your pattern is discontinued, out of stock, or not sold in your region. Enter the original yarn's weight category, fiber content, and the yardage your pattern needs.

The finder returns candidate swaps with gauge notes and recalculated yardage. You can save results to a project list and share or print them.

Pick your original yarn's weight (like DK or Worsted). Choose the closest fiber type (wool, cotton, acrylic, or blend).
